HUMC receives the Minister’s Award for 2023 Future Happiness Awards

On November 16, Hallym University Medical Center (HUMC) received the Minister of Health and Welfare Award in the category of public health contribution at the ‘the 7th Future Happiness Awards’.
The Future Happiness Award is an event hosted by KUKI News since 2017. The host awards companies and institutions that have contributed for promoting social activities, which will bring happiness for future generations in Korea. The event was sponsored by the Ministry of the Interior and Safety, the Ministry of Health and Welfare, the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family, and the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety.
HUMC was recognized for its contribution to providing patient-centered medical services with advanced medical technologies such as AI, metaverse as well as to spreading advanced medical culture through ESG management.
Particularly, HUMC is constantly developing international exchanges with other foreign countries. Chairman Dai-Won Yoon of HUMC was awarded the Linnaeus Medal in gold as the first Asian medal awardee. In addition, Danish Minister for Senior Citizens visited HUMC for benchmarking medical services robots. This has made HUMC to play a leading role of spreading the excellence of Korean medical standards to the world.
Director Hyeon-Seok Dan of Strategy & Planning at HUMC said, "HUMC is spreading the advanced medical care of Korea to the world by developing international exchanges with leading overseas medical institutions. We are also working on ESG management by providing patient-centered medical services." He also added, “We will do our best to contribute to improving the health and happiness of the people by continuing high-quality medical services in the future.”
