Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital

Dr. Jun Dong Chang, Professor of Orthopedic Surgery and Director of Arthroplasty Center at Hallym University Dongtan Sacred Heart Hospital won an academy award at the 19th Meeting of the Korean Hip Society on November 24, 2017. He was honored for his paper titled ‘Acute Delayed or Late Infection of Revision Total Hip Arthroplasty Treated with Debridement/Antibiotic-loaded Cement Beads and Retention of the Prosthesis.’ In this research, Dr. Chang suggested a new surgical procedure which successfully cures infection caused by revision total hip arthroplasty. The research result was published on ‘Hip & Pelvis,’ an academic journal of the Korean Hip Society.
