Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital

Dr. Seung Min Park of Emergency Medicine at Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital received an award from the Ministry of Public Safety and Security at the 12th National Emergency Medical Services Forum last year. Since 2005, the forum has been held every year in order to cheer up employees in the field of emergency medical system and to promote the importance of first aid.

The award was given in recognition of Dr. Park’s contribution for advanced emergency medical and clinical training. “It is very important for doctors of emergency medicine to increase the survival rate of cardiac arrest patients in the region,” said Dr. Park. “I will continue to do my best to save patients in local community and contribute to the development of emergency medicine,” he added. Dr. Park won the ‘Best Research Award’ for his thesis on ‘Performing CPR through video call’ at the annual meeting of the Korean Society of Emergency Medicine in Autumn, 2015.
