Nurses from Indonesia visits Hangang to learn burn care

Two nurses from Indonesia visited Hallym University Hangang Sacred Heart Hospital to learn advanced treatment system for burn patients on July 13, 2016.
Dia Rahayu and Yuniati Zahara are working as a head nurse and a nurse at a ward for burn patients at Rumah Sakit Pusat Pertamina Hospital, Indonesia. Their visit was aimed at taking a firsthand look at the advanced burn treatment facilities and learning well-designed burn care system of Hangang hospital.
Dr. Wook Chun, director of Hangang hospital welcomed them and led the hospital your to introduce its burn care system. They observed a burn surgery by Dr. Dohern Kym and visited the Burn Intensive Care Unit (BICU), a ward for burn patient, an emergency room, and the burn clinic.
Head nurse Diah Rahayu said, “I was surprised by the amazing burn treatment skills of Hangang hospital. Today’s visit will definitely help me a lot in treating burn patients in Indonesia.”
Director Chun said, “I was very impressed by the passion those nurses from Indonesia have shown. I will make my utmost effort to introduce our own burn care know-hows to underprivileged countries.”
