Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital welcomes Suwon Airbase officials

A group of U.S. officials at Suwon Airbase visited Hallym University Dongtan Sacred Heart Hospital on April 6, 2014.
The visit was to have discussions to check out the Hallym University Dongtan Sacred Hospital’s state-of-the-art facilities which have quickly emerged as a hub for U.S. service members’ healthcare and various treatments since the opening of International Healthcare Center last year.
Dr. Jae-Hyuk Shin, associate professor of orthopedic surgery, commenced the meeting with a welcome speech and briefly reported the hospital’s treatment system for U.S. soldiers.
The group led by James K Hardin, Suwon Airbase Physician Assistant and three other U.S. military officials toured the main facilities of the hospital including emergency department, VIP wards, MRI room, operation room and intensive care units. They were impressed the hospital’s state-of-the art facilities and its management system.
Since opening the International Healthcare Center to better serve U.S. service members and international patients, Hallym University Dongtan Sacred Heart Hospital has seen a surge in the number of international patients.
With Suwon Airbase’s officials visit, Hallym University Medical Center expects more U.S. service members and their families will find Hallym University Dongtan Sacred Heart Hospital to make the best use of the hospital’s International Healthcare Center and enjoy the highest quality of medical care.
Hallym University Dongtan Sacred Heart Hospital is geographically situated in a prime location. It is just a 30-minute drive away of Osan, Suwon and Pyeongtaek.
