Dr. Keun-Young Lee gives lecture at the World Congress Perinatal Medicine

Dr. Keun-Young Lee, professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital gave a lecture at the XI World Congress Perinatal Medicine which was held on June 22, 2013 in Moscow.


During the lecture, Dr. Lee spoke on “Premature Rupture of Membrane and Cervical Insufficiency” and shared his surgery results and treatment methods.


About 2,000 obstetricians and pediatricians participated in World Congress Perinatal Medicine, the internationally acclaimed event. At this congress, speakers presented the latest research results related to obstetric disorders.


Previously, Dr. Lee has lectured about “How can we improve the outcome of cervical insufficiency?” at the European Congress XXIII Perinatal Medicine in June 2012 in Paris.


He is scheduled to give a special lecture on “Cervical Insufficiency: Obstetrical Challenge” at the 10th Hallym-Columbia-Weill Cornell-NYP Symposium slated for Nov. 13, 2013.


Dr. Lee has published more than 120 papers at international societies including the American Journal of Obstetrics & Gynecology. He gave special lectures on cervical insufficiency in many international conferences such as European Congress of Perinatal Medicine, Japan Society of Perinatal and Neonatal Medicine and Asia Pacific Congress in Maternal Fetal Medicine to highlight Korea’s leading medical art.
