Chang’s Orthopaedic Conference Held in India

“Chang’s Orthopaedic Conference (COC)” took place in Kolkata on November 22, 2012. COC was named after Dr. Jun-Dong Chang, director of arthroplasty center and professor of orthopaedic surgery at Hallym University Dongtan Sacred Heart Hospital.
The Indian Orthopaedic Association (IOA) has invited Dr. Chang as a speaker six times. And Dr. Chang has trained about 30 doctors from India at his center for the last eight years. As a result, he is credited for contributing to the development of arthroplasty in India and COC is organized at the request of his Indian fellows.
Meanwhile, Dr. Chang graduated from Yonsei University College of Medicine and completed his fellowship at Harvard Medical School and Weill Cornell Medical College in the U.S. He served as president of the Korean Hip Society in 2006, president of the Korean Musculoskeletal Transplantation Society in 2006, and president of the 12th International BIOLOX Symposium in 2007.
