Dr. Lee to Deliver Special Lecture at the 23rd European Congress of Perinatal Medicine

Dr. Keun-young Lee, professor of obstetrics and gynecology at Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital, will give a special lecture at the 23rd European Congress of Perinatal Medicine (ECPM) 2012 in Paris, France, from June 13 to 16, 2012.
At the congress, Dr. Lee will talk about “How can we improve the outcome of cervical insufficiency” on June 14 and “Do we need cervical cerclage” on June 15. Dr. Ji-Eun Song of obstetrics and gynecology at Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital will also join the congress to present two academic papers, “Comparison of complication of History-indicated Cerclage and Ultrasound-indicated Cercalge” and ”The outcome of Physical Examination-indicated Cerclage,” and a poster on “The outcome of Transabdominal Cervicoisthmic Cercalge.”
Meanwhile, Dr. Lee has been widely recognized as an authority in the field of high risk pregnancy and early preterm delivery. Last year, he lectured on “the latest knowledge on cervical incompetence” at the 27th Fetus as a Patient International Congress in Italy and the 4th Asia Pacific Congress on Controversies in Obstetrics Gynecology and Infertility (COGI) in Thailand.
