Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital

Chuncheon Sacred Heart Hospital signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on February 22 with the Kangwon Journalists Association of Korea (KJAK) for mutual cooperation.

The hospital will provide the KJAK members and their immediate family with benefits such as discounts on medical services including physical examinations.

Dr. Dong Joon Kim, director of Chuncheon, said, “Billions of won in medical expenses is unnecessarily leaking from Gangwon-do to Seoul every year. I believe hospitals in the region need to pull together. We hope that journalists will properly evaluate the local hospitals so that we can prevent medical expenses from being drained to other regions.”
