Hallym University Kangnam Sacred Heart Hospital

A group of Jilin University professors visited Hallym University Sacred Heart Hospital on December 8, 2010. The 7-member delegation consisted of Prof. Sheng-Jin Wang, Vice President of Jilin University, Prof. Jun Jiang Li, Dean of Economics School, Prof. Ya Liu, Vice Dean of Graduate School, Prof. Jin-Quan Liu, Deaf of Business School, Prof. Baorong Chi, Professor of Gastroenterology, Prof. Xiao Yu, Vice Dean of College for Northeast Asian Studies, and Ms. Mei-Hua Li, Vice President of International Affairs Office.

The program started out with welcome remarks by Dr. Byung-Chul Lee, Hallym director, followed by a hospital introduction and a hospital tour. Dr. Lee said, “Our cooperation with Jilin dates back to 2007 when the Hallym delegation led by former president Joong-Soo Kim, currently Governor of the Bank of Korea, visited your esteemed institution. Since both parties reached an agreement, we have come a long way to deepen our bilateral cooperation. To further diversity our relations, we have worked closely to broaden the horizon of collaboration.”

Professors of both sides discussed ways to launch future exchange programs including organization of joint symposiums, and agreed to continuously share ideas to explore potential areas of mutual cooperation.
