Hallym University Medical Center (HUMC) held a Best Practice Workshop and declared eco-friendly management at Jamsil Hotel Lotte on May 22, 2008, inviting about 500 people including Chairman Yoon, executives, medical staff, residents and employees who will be in the forefront of Hallym's change and innovation initiatives in the days to come.
The event was designed to strengthen global competitiveness of the hospitals needed to make Hallym one of the most advanced medical institutions by exploring and sharing excellent cases of practices for customer satisfaction and productivity improvement. With this year being the third, Hallym has thus far witnessed outstanding results.
Faithfully performing social duties on respect for life through medical services and education, Hallym declared an eco-friendly management policy at the ceremony to reaffirm its commitment to preserving ecology and natural environment of this planet which finds itself in great jeopardy, and map out concrete strategies.
The event was made up of two sessions: the 2008 Best Practice Competition and the Declaration of the Environmental Management, so-called an ECO- Hallym Campaign. At the first session, processes and results of best practices by hospitals for customer satisfaction and productivity improvement were introduced. All the participants declared their willingness to love and protect the ecology and environment of the globe at the second session. The presenters offered practical solutions to the successful ECO-Hallym Campaign .
