Urology
The Department of Urology manages diseases of male and female urinary tracts, male reproductive organs, and retroperitoneal organs, including adrenal glands. With the advanced surgical technique of endoscopy, patients are able to benefit from the minimal invasive surgery (MIS) such as cystoscopy, ureteroscopy, and laparoscopy. Besides, extracorporeal shock wave lithotripsy and holmium laser lithotripsy allow doctors to remove patients' calculus without skin incision. Treatments for prostatic cancer, bladder cancer, kidney cancer, Robotic radical nephrectomy, Robotic partial nephrectomy, Robotic Radical prostatectomy, Radical cystectomy with intracorporeal neobladder formation and pyeloplasty are performed with a newly introduced da Vinci Robot surgical system.
