The Department of Dentistry cares all diseases and injuries of oral cavity and a maxillofacial area such as orthodontic treatment, oral and maxillofacial surgery, dental prosthesis, preservation, periodontal disease, temporomandibular joint disorder, and dental implant surgery.

Oral and maxillofacial surgery is a dental surgical specialty to correct a wide spectrum of diseases, injuries and defects in the head, neck, face, jaws and the hard and soft tissues of the oral and maxillofacial region. Orthodontics offers orthodontic care for adults and adolescents, pre- and post-surgical orthodontics, and the correction of dentofacial deformities. Prosthodontics is the dental specialty pertaining to diagnosis, treatment planning, rehabilitation and maintenance of oral functions, comfort, appearance and health of patients with clinical conditions associated with missing or deficient teeth and oral and maxillofacial tissues using biocompatible substitutes. Conservative dentistry takes care of reparative treatment, root canal treatment, apicoectomy, odontoplasty, and treatment of cold feeling teeth. Periodontics offers scaling, gingival and periodontal care, and gingivoplasty and flap surgery.
